EASY MEXICAN LAYERED DIP

This is a recipe I've used many times, easy to prepare, and a great
snack or appetitizer.

Ingredients:

1 can refried beans, any variety
1 1/2 Tbsp. taco seasoning mix
1 cup sour cream
1 cup Salsa (mild or hot)
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mexican style)
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped black olives
chopped tomatoes (optional)

Directions:

you will need a 9 inch pie plate

*Mix together the refried beans and the taco seasoning mix
blend well.
*Spread this onto the bottom of the pie plate.
*Add the sour cream on top of the bean mixture. Spread to
the edge or leave about an inch of the bean mixture showing.
*Top with salsa, lettuce, then the shredded cheese, the green
onions, and olives.
*Add the tomatoes right before serving (optional)
*Cover and chill in the refrigerator for about 3-4 hours

Serve with tortilla chips (the lime variety is a favorite),
Doritos, or a seasoned cracker
